I'm diving in...hope I don't drown!

Just like my friend Theresa, and my new bloggie buddy Sue, I have decided to jump into the digital scrapbooking world. I'm home most all day every day, and I need a creative outlet. I have a couple scrapbooks that I have done, but it takes a lot of organizing and time to do them. I love how with digital scrapbooking you can have all of the papers and embellishments and photos all on your computer...not all over your dining room table!

So, today I ordered these 2 things. After lots of researching, and talking to a bunch of different digital scrapbookers, here is what I decided to go with...Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 . I also got a Photoshop for dummies book, because I'm sure I'm going to need some help!

Wish me luck...we'll see what I can come up with...

I just started looking into doing this. What a great idea! I have a few scrapbooks that I have done...used to be a hobby but not anymore with 3 kiddos. Yeah, love that with digi scrapbooking it doesn't make the mess.

Hopefully I can start doing this soon too.

Good luck and have fun!

Hey, how great!! What fun...can't wait to see what you create!

Okay, so I talked with my mom and have planned a trip with the boys on June 6. I have a few other people in that area who want photo shoots, so I will bring all my photog equipment and my backdrops and start setting up photo shoots at my parents' place (inside and out) for Thursday and Friday...maybe Saturday...we'll be likely leaving that day because it's Israel's birthday. You're first in line...want to set up a time for a photo shoot at my parents' one of those days? I can't wait to SEE you and meet your girls!!!

Photoshop has tons of great tools. Good call on the dummies book. I should invest in that too so I can use the tools I just raved about. :)
The whole reason I got photoshop was for the slide show set to music part. Of course that's the part that didn't install correctly so now I use Window's Movie maker for my DVD's.

Each year at Sam's birthday party I play a 20-40 minute show of the best 400-600 pictures from the previous year. It takes forever to make them and now that I have two kids, I better get started now only five months until October!

Have fun! Can't wait to see the results. You are so creative that I know you'll be great at it!
