Crawling is not all that it's cracked up to be...

This is our living room...I have Livvie caged in because she is getting more curious every day. Crawling sure is not all it's cracked up to be (for us parents, that is)...

I remember these days! =) Granted Devyn never crawled, she went to straight to walking, but I remember locking everything up as much as I could.

Congrats on the crawling. That is so exciting!!

That's why I always laugh when someone says "I can't wait til they ___!" Oh there is always something new around the corner and then something else to watch out for ...Maybe she will crawl for a W H I L E!!!
But she looks like she's having fun!

As glad as I was when they learned how to crawl and then in Jan. my little monkey learned to walk it is a pain. Now my he's climbing on top of everything, ok everything but the barrier I have set up-knock on wood.

Yeah, I couldn't WAIT until Kieran crawled...and he crawled early. Now that I have #2, I have been hoping he DOESN'T crawl early! So far, so good, but he's finally thinking about it and wanting it. I've had nearly 4 months of sitting, so I can't complain! (With Kieran, on the other hand, the VERY day he learned to sit alone was the day he learned to get down from a sit and crawl away!) Whew, lots of work, but it's SO cute to see a baby crawling!!

I love it. We have a bunch of gates up in our house so I can let them go and not chase them around. Lots of things got moved out of the way. :) But if Liv is anything like mine - she's an even happier baby now that she can move.

Enjoy!

Okay, now I have a whole new appreciation for Chloe's "slow start" in that department. Thanks for helping me be content!
Love, Sarah

It's definitely not all it's cracked up to be...isn't that the truth.

I have a friend with a 9 month old who is basically walking. My friend is so excited that he's reached this stage so early...I keep telling her..."you wont be saying that for long"!!! So much fun for the kiddos though!
