Avery's last day of 3rd grade

9:26 PM

Today was the end of not only 3rd grade, but the end of Avery at her Elementary school. It was very emotional. Her teacher, unfortunately, was not at school the last couple of days, but we did manage to get a picture of her on HER last day on Wednesday!

It's fun to look back at all of Avery's 1st days of school:

Kindergarten and 1st

2nd and 3rd!

When I picked up Avery today, the whole 3rd grade went out into the halls and sang a song together. Yes, there were tears...

and some silly pics....girls do then when they see a camera!

We went out and celebrated the end of school with our great friends, and when we got home, the girls had to do their "welcome to summer" song and dance!

Avery's teacher gift

9:23 PM

I LOVE pinterest.

I got 2 ideas for a Teacher gift, and put them together.
Her teacher really loved the gift, and I'm so happy she did!

I helped in the classroom, so I asked each child secretively their favorite thing about Mrs. B, and I put those quotes on each dollar bill!

reminders are everywhere....

9:22 PM

During the time when we were expecting, Olivia's preschool class had to draw a picture of their family....

this picture had been hanging up in the hallway of the preschool....
she just brought it home last week...

Olivia's last day of Preschool

8:58 AM

She's done.. my sweet Olivia is no longer in preschool.
Where did the time go? She's officially "going into Kindergarten". It's crazy!

Her last day was on Friday, and Mommy was pretty emotional.
Avery went to school here, and now Liv. Saying goodbye was kind of hard.
Plus, she's my baby....

Liv has been in tears off and on for a week thinking about being done with school.
She wants to stay in preschool forever.

However, on this day, she was ALL about taking pictures,
and there was no sadness whatsoever!

Now, let summer begin (well, after this week...Avery will be done on Friday)!

Olivia is a graduate!

4:37 PM

Can you believe that my sweet baby Liv is a preschool graduate?

man....time sure does go fast! She used to be concerned with suckies, and now she wants long dangling earrings, blush, lipstick, and to be the belle of the ball!
see her up there? 3rd from the right...she's pretty tall, surprisingly. I think she may be taller like her daddy!
Oh my, they sang this song that I used to sing as a kid "But I just thank you Father for making me ME...cause you gave me a heart and you gave me a smile. You gave me Jesus and you made me your child. And I just thank you Father for making me ME." I had chills listening to them singing it!
on her way to get her diploma from Ms. Chelsea. My camera didn't focus, and I got the worst picture of her getting it...oh well!
Of anyone she could have invited, she chose to invite her 17 year old friend Morgan from church. My girl has a thing for older men :) He was so nice to bring her a card and a crisp $5! She was excited!
Liv (with a gummy smile) and her friend Payge! Praying they get into the same Kindergarten class! And, Kes, Lilly and Olivia!
Liv's best friend at school...Ms. Chelsea! Every day it takes her 10-15 minutes of "Ms Cheslea" time before she goes and plays with the kiddos!
Ms Lacie and Ms Chris...
We are so proud of you Olivia! Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for you and your spicy self! WE LOVE YOU!

Wednesday morning Liv and I trekked on over to preschool, and loaded up about 40 munchkins and were off to the zoo!

Liv and I were lucky enough to be in a large van with 9 children. :)

She got to sit next to her friend Payge, so all was well!
(fingers crossed they will be in the same Kindergarten class next year!)

Here is our group from the day! Kes, Eliana, Payge and Olivia! We also we with Payge's mom and Eliana's mom too!
