our very own winter blizzard....

woke up this morning to a blizzard outside...

church is cancelled...must be pretty bad...

Below is the "weather alert" for our area...

THIS SNOW COMBINED WITH THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WITH VERY LOW VISIBILITIES... AND NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS. TRAVEL IS NOT ADVISED. AS THE TEMPERATURE FALLS DURING THE DAY... WIND CHILL READINGS WILL FALL TO 20 TO 30 DEGREES BELOW ZERO BY EARLY THIS EVENING.

A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL LEAD TO WHITEOUT CONDITIONS... MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT TRAVEL. IF YOU MUST... HAVE A WINTER SURVIVAL KIT WITH YOU. IF YOU GET STRANDED... STAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

again, why do I live here in the Midwest?

YIKES!!! We don't have that kind of snow in our area...thank goodness. You are better off than my In-Laws in New Hampshire. There was a massive ice storm there on Friday. 400,000 people without electricity.

I'd take the snow any day over the rain we're getting today. The temp dropped 10 degrees while I was in the grocery store. Should be changing over to snow soon...

Thanks for the Christmas card! It's so unique. I love the colors and fonts. I would love to learn more design stuff so I can incorporate more into my cards than just the photoshop element shapes.
I hid in Julia's room so I could enjoy your letter in peace. Thanks for including me on your list this year!
