You want to do what????

Avery told me Tuesday night that her hair is getting too long. Um, what? Yup, she thinks it's just getting longer and longer, and she needs it cut.

Avery was 5 in July, and she STILL has never had a hair cut. I'm trimmed her bangs, and evened out the ends here and there, but never a cut.

Her hair grows very slow, which I think is because of her milk allergy. It's taken over 5 years to grow the head of hair she currently has...

So, being the impulsive mom that I am, I called and we have a hair cut scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30!

I'm still not sure about this, but hey...what's the worst that could happen, right? :)

I will be standing next to her at all times and taking pictures, so you all will be able to 'be' there with us.... :)

Wish us luck!

P.s. I am fully aware that I am writing this post at 12:30 in the morning. I have been crazy busy with bloggie makeovers, so I work late at night on them. I think I now have the title as a Work At Home Mom

.....going to sleep now......

How Fun for Avery...scary for mommy. I can share with you that from my thin hair maddie that as soon as we started getting frequent hair cuts, her hair started getting thicker looking and they say it's good for their hair too. Now, she wants to grow hers out....not sure if I can make that possible...hee hee. Have fun. P.S. It's 5 a.m...I don't sleep much either. Wink wink

WOW! I can't wait to see the pics!

P.S. It's too much work for a lot of moms, but if you rub tea tree oil on her scalp each night and wash her hair in the mornings, her hair will grow much faster and healthier. Also, trimming it every six weeks really DOES make it grow "faster" (really, it just helps it not break off which creates the illusion of it not growing.)

Addyson's hair grows SUPER fast and we've chopped it a LOT her her short little life (although, she didn't have ANY hair until she turned two), so we haven't had to use the Tea Tree Oil...but I KNOW it works!

Wow - 5 years no haircut - I think that's a record! She's gonna love the beauty parlor! It will look FAB! Can't wait to see the photo ops!

Oh, you brave, brave woman! I chopped Devyn's hair about a month ago (all by myself) and I'm still crying about it. But I'm sure since you're going to a professional place, you'll have a much better experience. I'm looking forward to the pictures!

WOW! Never? Reese has had 2 already! You know, it grows faster when you cut it...it will come back in no time. I can't wait to see the pics!

I have been busy too, lately...I have comment guilt! I don't think we will ever be all done with everything...til eternity that is.

Good luck with Avery's first hair cut. My husband cut's our son's hair about every 6 weeks.
