life has gotten away from me this week, and apologies go around for not updating you all on the girls' lives....

last Sunday we took the girls out to the local tennis courts to teach Avery how to play tennis. daddy is pretty good at it (can still demolish college boys), so he is the perfect teacher for Miss Avery! Liv and I came along as the "gophers" of all the balls.....


daddy got Avery all positioned right. now, she just has to learn to hit the ball....


that darn hand - eye coordination thing is so hard, BUT, she DID hit quite a few of them!

in other news, our friend Sara called this week and asked if Avery wanted to be the "Weather Kid" for the Wednesday news here at our local radio station! she was SUPER excited, so she said YES YES YES! Avery's newscast played every hour for the whole day!

it took a total of 10 minutes, and now...she's a star! :)


she loved doing it, and wants to do it again. she wants to be the voice of animated characters in movies when she grows up (as of today), so it's a wonderful beginning!
