our family had a wonderful 4th of July!

a family from church that lives out on an acreage invited the church out to their house! we also went there last year, and had just as much fun!

here is Livie on the way! she's super excited, can't you tell? (she also has a "sty" right now on her eye...)


and, miss Avery....sporting the same braids as her sister, and her new patriotic glasses!


the girls did LOTS of playing.....lots and lots of it.....


Avery learned how to climb up on a bar, so that was the main activity for her all day!


good job Avery! i think i will have much more anxiety now as we play outdoors....little acrobat!


we lit off fireworks and smoke balls for hours...


Liv wasn't too fond of the loud sounds....she had her hands over her ears most of the time, or was found behind this tree.....


doing lots of this.... her fear was justified, because she was slightly burned (along with 3 other kids) by a sparkler...

we had a pot luck, lots of fellowship, some owies, and a wonderful time. here are the girls on the ride home....

and Liv was sleeping within 5 minutes after we left....
