today was election day for Avery at school as well as the rest of the country.
i was up till late making her a shirt to wear for the occasion! i thought it turned out cute! :)

and, here are our cute pumpkins that we ended up carving on saturday.

i thought my girls were missing out by us never carving pumpkins together, so I asked if they wanted to do it. They said yes, so we went online and searched for cute pumpkin faces to cut out. i got all the supplies ready, and we all got around the table. then, just like that, the girls left me. i spent the next 2 hours carving out these pumpkins while they played. i guess they didn't need to do this tradition after all...
