on November 11th we went to Avery's school for family literacy night. there were stations set up around the school for us to go to, and at the end, the children performed a song they had been learning in music for us.

on Monday, November 15th, Olivia had an appointment for her 1st trip to the dentist. she got all ready by reading her Dora book. she was very excited! she even wore double pony tales since she heard that Dr. Dan gives extra prizes for double pony tales!

she chose the chocolate flavor toothpaste (yuck), and when I asked her what she thought, she said it was yummy and crunchy!

also on that Monday, Liv also got to go have her haircut. it was getting a little bit long, so we thought we'd be daring and get it chopped off!


and we sure did! ;) the shorter the better to show off her personality!


it fits her perfectly! i can't see her having long hair anytime soon!
