O-l-i-v-i-a

It's always such a huge thing when a child learns to write their name. It has been for us, anyways. When Avery learned her name, I made sure to write down the date and time, put it in her baby book, and made sure to preserve the paper in which she mastered her new skill.

It has been a couple weeks since Olivia has been interested in her name...how it looks, the letters in it, etc. She has been asking for me to write it down everywhere, and she has been studying it.

Today, however, she mastered her name, in her own little 3 1/2 year old way...
we are so very proud of our sweet little girl...

she's so proud of herself (and we are too)!

Way to go OLIVIA! It's a fun milestone to reach! I am still in awe of how much sooner girls get it than boys - at least at our house it was that way....

Julia wrote her name for the first time on a magnadoodle so I quickly ran for the camera to preserve it :)
