After almost 4 months of getting "settled", I finally went around the house and snapped some photos. I had a surprisingly hard time at first wanting to put things up on the wall since it was a new house. To my husbands dismay, I think I didn't hang a single thing for a couple months! I just couldn't decide on what to do!

After visiting our neighbors house, and seeing how gorgeous it is, I decided to just jump in and tackle it! So, I did! I am by no means a "decorator" and I don't quite know what I'm doing, but it is what it is! Decorating on a budget is the key....transforming things with spray paint and finding cheap "treasures" is how I do it! :)

So, without further ado, welcome to our new home....


I have really enjoyed being outside this summer and planting! Again, I don't know what I'm doing, and I'm symmetrical to a fault, but I like it... :)



my hubby has done an amazing job with the grass! he has taken such good care of it!


this is the north side of the house! I did all the lattice work, and I see from this photo that some of the crazy wind we have been getting here has blown it a tad...i better go fix that! :)


this is the south side of the house. the plant under the window was being thrown out downtown one day, and i just happened to be standing there as they were digging it up and said that I would gladly take it! it had a rough beginning, but it's coming around!


our living room...it would look so much homier without that TV, but we do love watching it! :)


the kitchen...we LOVE having an island. so much so, that we never eat at the actual table unless we have company!
