Puppies are here! :)

Winnie's temperature dropped at 6:30 on Saturday evening, so we knew that it would be within 24 hours before the puppies would come! That night she spent nesting, panting, and being restless. Nana barely got any sleep!

Sunday, the girls and I went to church, and Nana stayed on Winnie watch. She was very tired all day, preparing for the big finale!

Winnie really is a rock star momma....she labors so good, and is so focused....

About 7:30 on Sunday night, things started getting a little more exciting. She started panting more, and being a bit more uncomfortable. She started having the "shakes" at 8:18 pm, so we knew it was coming soon!

Poor thing looked miserable for about 10 minutes before the first puppy came out. I said that I would never make her go through this again....it was hard to watch her shake and pant so much!
