loves to be around me, hates to be alone...

Avery loves to hold her, and loved showing her off to her classmates today...

Avery has also begun Doggy Daycare, and is teaching Piper new things...

The chew toys are so big next to her...

This cute little bugger decided to pee inside 5 times today...
BUT, she did go poops twice outside today!

She goes to the Vet tomorrow for her 8 week shot and de-worming....

Okay y'all, so we did it.
Not sure what I'm doing, or why we (I) decided that we (I) wanted a dog,
but we're dog owners.

She is just the most precious thing. She is a shih-poo.
Her mama is a black and white shih-tzu, and her daddy is a apricot toy poodle.
She was born on August 17th, so that makes her just over 8 weeks old.

Avery LOVES her, Livvie is interested in her,
hubby thinks she's cute, and I love her (along with second thoughts...normal???).

Oh, you want to know what her name is?
Well, hubby decided on that one.
Her name is Piper.
Not because Gov. Palin has a daughter named Piper,
but because his life has been greatly influenced by John Piper.

She's super tiny, and can fit through our gates we have up.
She's piddled outside 3 times, and inside 5 times (oops).
Trying to figure it all out, I guess!

Our bestest buddies Dustin and Ashley invited us to the town parade today! It was a little chilly, but we had a fun (and rowdy) time! Today, we actually felt like we were apart of our little town. It was fun. Oh, and if you look at Dustin (crossing his leg), you'll see their new baby pug named Jack! He's too too cute!

These are all ready to be picked up and personalized! $20 a piece! Can't beat that!

Avery's teacher told me today when I picked her up, that she was tested or her reading! She's reading at a 2nd grade level! I am so proud of you, miss Avery Joy!

She also brought home a paper that she did today at school. At the bottom, it says "First Grade". WHOO HOO! My smart little cookie is doing 1st grade work! Great job Avery!

Oh, and I almost forgot to post these pictures that I took after church on Sunday. I had received some packages earlier that week, and we spread out the bubble wrap in our hallway and had some LOUD fun!

My husband forwarded me an article last night about the moderator of the Vice Presidential debate tomorrow. Her name is Gwen Ifill, and coincidentally she has just written a "Pro-Obama book" that will be released in January. She has also done reports on Gov. Sarah Palin where she looked no more than "disgusted" talking about her. As if Gov. Palin doesn't have enough to worry about for tomorrow night...

It will be an interesting debate, that's for sure. I am going to put the girls to bed, and listen and be entertained, at least! I sure hope she does us proud, and makes the trash talkers eat their words, but we'll see, won't we?
