I *may* be the only one who thinks this is neato, but...just in case I'm not....here's miss Winnie's belly, with her sweet little pups moving around! You might need to look close to see them, but they were an active bunch tonight! :) enjoy!
Buddy has been being a silly little elf this Christmas! The other day we woke up to find him zip-lining in our kitchen!
I had lunch with my favorite 10 year old last week after a dentist appt
and, our family is ridiculously excited about this....
Winnie is beginning to get uncomfortable. She is also getting super chubby! I was able to feel her puppies moving around in there this week! So so neat! We're getting close to d-day!
Winnie is just being adorable....
getting chubby...
and growing puppies!
This is my Livie ...not much else to say! tights, leggings, shorts....a great combo!
And, Buddy has returned! He actually came back to us on Dec. 1st. Today he was observing baby Jesus I guess! Always something fun going on around here!
Nana Dianne helped give Winnie's tummy a nice shave! I never knew that in preparation for birth, a dog will shed it's hair on it's tummy...odd. So, a lot of folks have their dog have a "maternity hair-cut". So, Nana Dianne did it! :)
Winnie gained almost 2 lbs this week. She is much more chubby, and her tummy is getting awfully "tight". She did throw up again today, which is all part of this fabulous adventure!
Here she is from the top! :) So much fun to see all these changes! ONLY 3 WEEKS TILL PUPPIES ARE HERE! Crazy!
Livie made some yummy goodies for herself. She said that you just dip pretzels in almond bark, and then put sprinkles all over them! yum yum!
Here's what Nana Dianne and I worked on making! We made TONS! These are my favorite!
Avery had a "dress rehearsal" yesterday down at the college for her little Yuletide Choral Concert! See little Avery up there? :)
So many pretty voices all on one stage!
With the giant blizzard today, we weren't sure if the concert was going to be cancelled, but alas, it wasn't! Avery was ready to perform!
Nana Dianne and Livie waiting for the concert to begin! Glad that the auditorium was about 1/2 full, even with the blizzard!
They sounded so pretty!
Here is the video of the performance! I was taking pictures and doing the video camera at the same time :) ENJOY!
Avery has been asking to have some girls from school over for a massive play-date! We finally set the date for last night!
The girls had so much fun!!!
Abby, Hannah and Kylie!
Avery, Megan, Emma, Ingrid and Tian!
Nana Dianne and Livie!
After the movie, complete with popcorn, sprite, and pull-n-peels, the girls headed upstairs for some play time!
And some dancing!
We ended the evening playing a game of Headbandz, and then it was time for the girls to go home! We had such a wonderful time!!!
Avery had her first violin performance this evening!
We were all very excited about it!
She has really been enjoying playing!
She has 2-3 lessons a week, and is doing very well!
Nana Dianne came up for the occasion!
And, well....here's spicy Livie!
At the concert!
She was right up in front, so we were able to see her pretty good!
The place was PACKED!
A very fun time had by us all! So proud of you, Avery!
I tell ya, these girls cannot wait to see their Winnie when they come home after school! It's a down-right love fest up in here!
Christmas has gotten them a whole lot of crazy, too....
Well, miss Winnie is now 5.5 weeks pregnant!
Here she is on Monday:
Her tummy is getting much fuller, and it's so fun to actually "see" her changing!
She still is tired, laying around all day. We have been giving her an egg every other day, and she is loving that! She also gets some of her food with some chicken broth every other day, so she's being treated very well these days!

Avery invited her friend Kylie out for lunch yesterday! Always so much fun to catch up with this sweet little girl!
Sometimes a momma just has to SHOUT OUT how stinkin' proud of their kid they are, right? Well, I totally am doing that!
Avery has ALWAYS loved to sing. You can catch her daily belting out some tune. I think she's pretty good, but ya know...I'm her mom.
I thought after she got chosen for a duet in 2nd grade, "oh, her music teacher must think she's kinda good"....
I thought after she got chosen for her own song/solo in 3rd grade, "hmmm....maybe she really IS good at this singing thing..."
At the beginning of the school year, her new music teacher let the kids know about an opportunity to be in a "Honors Choir". They would have to sing for the teacher, and if she thought they could make an audition CD, then she would refer them on to that.
Avery was selected to make an audition CD. Her teacher did tell everyone that most will not get into the choir, but it's a great opportunity to try. I honestly didn't think she'd make it...
Fast forward onto a couple of weeks ago. Her music teacher sent an email to the parents of about 12 students from her school (over 500 kids). She selected these students to be in a choir to sing at our local university during their choral concert. Avery was selected, and only 2 other 4th graders were chosen :) What on honor...the concert is this Sunday :)
As Avery went to her first rehearsal for the concert last week, we noticed that the list for the Honor Choir was up. HER NAME WAS LISTED! Avery, along with about 10 or so other kiddos from her school, were chosen to be in a STATE WIDE honor choir! WOWZA!
Today her music teacher sent home a note...just have to write out what she said....
"The chorus consists of students in grades 4, 5, and 6, who were selected through taped auditions. Almost 600 cd's were submitted. A panel of judges listened to these cd's. No names or schools were known to those listening. Cd's were judged on the following criteria: tone quality, tonal memory, intonation and diction. The top 170 scores were chosen for the chorus."
So yes....I believe we have a singer on our hands, and Daddy and I couldn't be more proud of our little Avery! :)
Just uploaded some more of the pictures off of my camera!
Here's miss Winnie in the waiting room before her ultrasound
Winnie absolutely LOVED having Uncle Josh here :)
so did the girls...Winnie had just had a bath to get all the ultrasound goo off of her!
Today one of the college girls had over a bunch of the little ladies from church to bake! Liv was there for over 3 hours! She had such a fun time!
