I know ...I found your blog through McKMama's blog. I know how you feel about the kids being sick. We have a son who has asthma and since he was 2 was hospitalized every winter twice a winter. One year he had 6 rounds of antibiotics in 2 months. I don't usually do this but I will share with you what worked for us. We tried Mannabears this winter for the first time. He did not get sick! No pneumonia, no bronchitis, no nebulizers. He got tonsillitis...but that is easy to deal with. He got one ONE runny nose! He is in Kindergarten so I was really worried about all the stuff he would bring home. Up until now he was catching what his older sister was bringing home from school. I would say it was the best thing we did. Mannabears are all natural and food based not herb. They replace key nutrients your body needs to have its cells communicate properly. You can read about the ingredients here: https://www.mannatech.com/Resources/en/ca/pdf/products/CanMannaBears.pdf

And some reviews here: http://www.nutritionaltree.com/reviews/children/other/mannatech_mannabears.aspx

If you buy through Mannatech then they have a promo right now that is buy one get one free! One bottle is $30.00. We have been so happy with the results. If you want more info let me know.
They really have changed our life.

I realize I sound like an ad. Sorry about that! Good luck with your kiddos! And God bless you in your ministry. My husband and I were youth pastors for 6 years. It is a hard, rewarding job!Cherry Blossomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14025514515713293523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2049030401271400332.post-41831995031909260132009-03-01T22:30:00.000-06:002009-03-01T22:30:00.000-06:00Poor things! Probiotics are also good to give them so the antibiotics don't kill the good bacteria. Hope they feel better soon. It did wonders with her immunity--colds would go around and she would actually not get some sometimes. Other times, when she did get it, it wouldn't be as bad as it usually was--ie: breathing treaments and antibiotics. Typically, she was always sick and always got every virus, but would get it way worse than everyone else.

It isn't a fix, it just helps a lot. She does have a chronic disease and takes a boatload of medication everyday even when she's well--but for this one part of her problem (picking up every germ, low immunity)--the juice plus made a huge difference.

Hope this helps : )Carla (Choosing His Joy)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10778253980228186373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2049030401271400332.post-33544089595469838642009-02-25T09:07:00.000-06:002009-02-25T09:07:00.000-06:00How are you going to keep from getting this sick e...How are you going to keep from getting this sick every year with Avery's issues? I cannot believe Livvie isn't screaming in pain! Or, maybe she is?

Poor sick girlies... I am SO hoping and praying that the meds work asap - that you can all get some sleep and feel better soon. I took a sharpie and wrote on the label when they were supposed to take it and listed each day. Then as I gave each child their medicine, I checked it off and then there was no question if I remembered to give someone their medicine.
Good Luck! I'll try to send the get well fairy your way but she's slacking on the job lately.Heidi @ Tayterjaq's Rebelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05340116788171522073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2049030401271400332.post-36373056330841472112009-02-23T16:45:00.001-06:002009-02-23T16:45:00.001-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Mandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17933221855861812921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2049030401271400332.post-40446365277853470512009-02-23T16:45:00.000-06:002009-02-23T16:45:00.000-06:00Sorry life is tough right now.
